Ordering & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods available through Stripe Checkout. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, so we never see or store your card details.
Is checkout secure?+
Yes. All payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card information never touches our servers. The checkout page is served over HTTPS with strict security headers, and our server re-verifies all prices at checkout time, so the cart total cannot be manipulated client-side.
Can I use a discount or promo code?+
Yes. If you have a promo code, enter it on the Stripe Checkout page before completing payment. Promo codes are managed in our Stripe dashboard, so follow us or sign up to hear about promotions.
Can I change or cancel my order?+
Digital orders cannot be cancelled once the download has been delivered, as the product is immediately accessible after payment. If you have not yet accessed the download and believe you ordered in error, contact us as soon as possible and we will review the situation.
Licensing & Ownership
Do I own the software I buy, or is it a subscription?+
You buy it once and own it. There is no subscription, no recurring fee, and no license server phoning home. After purchase, the product is yours to use for personal or professional work indefinitely.
Do I get free updates after I buy?+
Yes. Every product includes free lifetime updates. When a new version ships, it lands in your order's download area automatically. Sign into your account and go to Profile, then Digital Vault to get the latest build. No upgrade fee, no expiry.
How are downloads delivered?+
Your download is available the moment payment clears. A signed, expiring download link is sent to your email immediately after checkout. The same file is also permanently available in your Digital Vault under your account, so you can re-download any time.
Are the download links secure?+
Yes. Every download link is a signed, expiring URL tied specifically to your order. The link in your confirmation email expires after 24 hours, but your Digital Vault gives you permanent, on-demand access as long as your account is active.
Digital Products & Downloads
How do I access my digital downloads after purchase?+
Download links are sent immediately in your order confirmation email. If you have a Syntax Forge account, your downloads are also permanently accessible in your Profile under "Digital Vault", with no expiry on your library.
Do download links expire?+
The links in your confirmation email are valid for 24 hours. However, if you're signed into your account, your Digital Vault gives you permanent, on-demand access to all purchases. Just log in and download whenever you need.
Can I redownload a file I already purchased?+
Yes. Sign into your account and go to Profile → Digital Vault. All your purchased digital products are listed there and can be downloaded at any time.
Can I share or redistribute digital files I've purchased?+
No. Digital products are licensed for personal or professional use by the purchaser only. Redistribution, resale, or sharing of purchased files is not permitted. See our Terms of Service for full details.
Do I get free updates to digital products I've purchased?+
Yes. Every digital product includes free lifetime updates. When a newer version of a file, script, or utility is released, every previous buyer gets access to it at no extra cost. The easiest way to pull the latest build is to keep your Syntax Forge account linked to your order and re-download from your Digital Vault. No upgrade fee, no expiry, no gotchas.
Returns & Refunds
Can I get a refund on a digital product?+
Digital products are generally non-refundable once the download has been accessed, as the product is immediately and permanently available after purchase. If you experience a technical issue that prevents access, contact us and we will resolve it. If a product is materially different from its description, we will make it right.
What if I have a technical problem with my download?+
Contact us through the contact form with your order ID and a description of the issue. We typically respond within one business day and will either fix the problem or provide an alternative download method.
Account & Orders
Do I need an account to place an order?+
No. You can check out as a guest with just your email address. However, creating an account gives you access to your Digital Vault, order history, and makes future purchases faster.
How do I reset my password?+
Go to the Login page and click "Forgot password". Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link valid for one hour.
How do I verify my email address?+
A verification email is sent automatically when you register. Click the link in that email to verify. You can also resend the verification email from your Settings page.
SynCraft
Is SynCraft free?+
Yes. SynCraft is free to download and use on Windows, macOS, and Linux. You still need to own a legitimate Minecraft Java Edition license. SynCraft downloads the game files directly from Mojang's official CDN.
Which platforms does SynCraft support?+
Windows, macOS, and Linux. Downloads include a Windows NSIS installer, a macOS DMG, and Linux AppImage and Debian packages. The download button on the SynCraft page picks the right file for your OS automatically.
How do SynCraft updates work?+
New releases appear on the SynCraft page as soon as they ship. The download button always points to the latest stable version for your platform.
Custom Software
Do you take custom software requests?+
Yes. Use the Custom Order Request form to describe your project: what you need built, your target platform, any technical constraints, and your budget. We will review it and get back to you with a price and timeline. Custom orders are fulfilled via a Stripe payment link sent to your email.
What kinds of custom projects do you take on?+
Automation scripts, CLI tools, developer utilities, small web apps, and integration work. If the scope is unclear, send a description anyway. We will tell you whether it is something we can do and give you an honest estimate.
