Terms of Service
Last updated: April 6, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at https://syntax-forge.com(the "Site") and any purchases you make from Syntax Forge ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make a purchase. By placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Products
Physical goods
Physical products include 3D printed items and refurbished or modified hardware. Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided in good faith. Minor variations in colour, texture, or appearance between the listing and the delivered item may occur due to the nature of 3D printing and hand-finishing.
Inventory is managed in real time. If an item sells out between your cart and checkout, your order will not complete for that item and you will not be charged.
Digital goods
Digital products (scripts, utilities, STL files, and similar) are delivered electronically immediately after payment confirmation. Digital products are licensed, not sold — see Section 4 for licence terms.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change without notice, but any price shown at the time you initiate checkout is binding for that transaction.
Payment is processed by Stripe. By completing a purchase you authorise Stripe to charge your selected payment method. We never store payment card details. If a payment fails or is disputed, fulfilment will not proceed until the payment is resolved.
Promotional codes may be applied at checkout. Codes are subject to any terms stated at the point of issuance and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
4. Digital Product Licence
Upon purchase of a digital product, Syntax Forge grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use that product for your personal or professional purposes, subject to the following restrictions:
- You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the files with third parties.
- You may not use the files to create a competing product or service.
- STL files may be used to print physical items for personal use or for sale, but the STL file itself may not be resold or distributed.
- All copyright and intellectual property rights in the digital product remain with Syntax Forge.
5. Shipping
Physical orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, incorrect addresses provided by the buyer, or customs clearance for international shipments.
Risk of loss transfers to you upon handover to the shipping carrier. If your order does not arrive within the stated timeframe, contact us and we will investigate.
6. Returns & Refunds
Physical items
You may return unused physical items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery. Contact us before sending a return. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item was defective, damaged in transit, or materially different from its description.
Items that are custom-made to your specification are non-refundable unless defective.
Digital items
Digital products are generally non-refundable once the download has been accessed or delivered, as the product is immediately and fully accessible upon purchase. Exceptions may be made at our discretion if a product is materially different from its description or is technically inaccessible due to our error.
7. Custom Orders
Custom order requests submitted through the quote form are not binding until a written quote has been issued by Syntax Forge and accepted by you via payment of the stated amount through the Stripe payment link we provide.
Custom orders require full payment upfront. Custom prints and modifications are non-refundable once production has begun. We will notify you before beginning production and provide an opportunity to cancel.
8. Accounts
Account registration is optional. If you create an account:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is not permitted.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the Site.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or quote requests.
- Attempt to manipulate pricing, checkout flows, or download token verification.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, and product designs — is owned by or licensed to Syntax Forge. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any Site content without prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its contents are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Syntax Forge disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Syntax Forge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or any products purchased from us, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Syntax Forge operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered account holders.
