Every feature, captured from the app.

Real screenshots from the running desktop build. Click any shot to expand. No other Minecraft launcher ships a live server dashboard like this.

Live server console. A real NeoForge Minecraft 1.21.1 server running inside SynCraft with ATM10 installed. CPU, RAM, Players, TPS, Disk, and Health stats across the top, with a scrolling boot log showing RCON, spawn area prep, and all seven dashboard tabs at your fingertips.
Instance management. Every installed modpack tracks its own loader, Minecraft version, RAM allocation, and total play time. Mod update counts are surfaced inline so you always know what's pending. One-click Launch, plus search and sort by recent or name.
In-app play log. Launch a modpack and SynCraft keeps a live Minecraft log in the same window. Filter by INFO, WARN, or ERROR, search the output, and kill the process with one button if a mod misbehaves. RAM and CPU metrics stream in real time.
Modpack browser. Search and install modpacks from Modrinth, CurseForge, and FTB in one unified browser. Browse by category, see download counts, and install with a single click. Local .mrpack file import is supported too.
Server hub. All configured servers, running processes, and total reserved RAM at a glance. One click to start a server or jump straight into its console, settings, and file browser. ATM10 modpack label visible on the server card.
Guided server setup. A six-step wizard to stand up a new server: pick your goal, choose software, configure name, port, and RAM, enable whitelist, and select a modpack. Port availability is checked live and CurseForge packs install automatically.
Server mod management. Every installed mod displayed with its icon, name, and file size. Enable or disable individual mods with a toggle, search by name, or remove them entirely. Browse Catalog opens the full mod search page for installing new ones.
Mod catalog. A dedicated browse page for searching and installing mods compatible with your server's Minecraft version and loader. Card grid layout with icons, descriptions, download counts, and one-click install. Duplicate detection prevents re-installing mods you already have.
Settings. Default RAM slider, optional download speed limiter, Dark and Light appearance modes, global Java path override, detected Java runtimes, system hardware info, storage management, and diagnostics — all in one polished settings page.
Profile and skins. Your Minecraft account info, skin upload with Classic/Slim toggle, a public skin catalog browser, and cape management with pixelated texture previews. Equip or unequip capes with one click.

Built-in server dashboard

7-step setup wizard for Vanilla or Paper, live RCON console, ops, whitelist, bans, and a full server.properties editor, all inside the launcher. No other Minecraft launcher ships this.

Native Rust + Tauri

Not an Electron wrapper. Launcher logic runs in Rust with Tokio for concurrency, so cold start is fast and the app stays small and light on RAM.

Every loader, every modpack

Fabric, Quilt, Forge, and NeoForge through their official installer pipelines. Search and install modpacks straight from Modrinth, FTB, and CurseForge in-app, or import local .mrpack files.

SynCraft FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything most people want to know before downloading. For deeper setup guides and troubleshooting, head to the Syntax Forge contact page.

What is SynCraft?

SynCraft is a free, native desktop Minecraft Java launcher. It handles Microsoft login, mod loaders (Fabric, Quilt, Forge, NeoForge), modpacks from Modrinth, FTB, and CurseForge, Java setup, and, unique to SynCraft, a full in-app server dashboard with a live RCON console.

Is SynCraft free?

Yes. SynCraft is free to download and use. You still need to own a legitimate Minecraft Java Edition license; SynCraft downloads the game files directly from Mojang's official CDN.

What makes SynCraft different from other launchers?

Most launchers stop at starting the game. SynCraft ships a full local Minecraft server dashboard: a 7-step Vanilla or Paper setup wizard, live RCON console, player management (ops, whitelist, bans), and a server.properties editor, all inside the same app. It is also native Rust plus Tauri, so it is small, boots fast, and is not an Electron shell.

Which platforms are supported?

Windows, macOS, and Linux. Downloads include a Windows NSIS installer, a macOS DMG, and Linux AppImage / Debian packages.

Which mod loaders and modpacks can I use?

Fabric, Quilt, Forge, and NeoForge are all installed through their official installer pipelines with live log output. You can search and install modpacks directly from Modrinth, FTB, and CurseForge, or import local .mrpack files.

Where do downloads live?

The Download button on this page links to the latest stable release for your platform as soon as a new version ships. You can also grab past releases from the SynCraft project page on GitHub.
