A Minecraft launcher
with a real server inside.
SynCraft is a fast, native desktop launcher for Minecraft Java Edition. Log in with Microsoft, install any major loader, browse modpacks from Modrinth, FTB, and CurseForge, and spin up a real local server with a live RCON console, all from the same window.
Every feature, captured from the app.
Real screenshots from the running desktop build. Click any shot to expand. No other Minecraft launcher ships a live server dashboard like this.
Built-in server dashboard
7-step setup wizard for Vanilla or Paper, live RCON console, ops, whitelist, bans, and a full server.properties editor, all inside the launcher. No other Minecraft launcher ships this.
Native Rust + Tauri
Not an Electron wrapper. Launcher logic runs in Rust with Tokio for concurrency, so cold start is fast and the app stays small and light on RAM.
Every loader, every modpack
Fabric, Quilt, Forge, and NeoForge through their official installer pipelines. Search and install modpacks straight from Modrinth, FTB, and CurseForge in-app, or import local .mrpack files.
Frequently asked questions
Everything most people want to know before downloading. For deeper setup guides and troubleshooting, head to the Syntax Forge contact page.
What is SynCraft?
SynCraft is a free, native desktop Minecraft Java launcher. It handles Microsoft login, mod loaders (Fabric, Quilt, Forge, NeoForge), modpacks from Modrinth, FTB, and CurseForge, Java setup, and, unique to SynCraft, a full in-app server dashboard with a live RCON console.
Is SynCraft free?
Yes. SynCraft is free to download and use. You still need to own a legitimate Minecraft Java Edition license; SynCraft downloads the game files directly from Mojang's official CDN.
What makes SynCraft different from other launchers?
Most launchers stop at starting the game. SynCraft ships a full local Minecraft server dashboard: a 7-step Vanilla or Paper setup wizard, live RCON console, player management (ops, whitelist, bans), and a server.properties editor, all inside the same app. It is also native Rust plus Tauri, so it is small, boots fast, and is not an Electron shell.
Which platforms are supported?
Windows, macOS, and Linux. Downloads include a Windows NSIS installer, a macOS DMG, and Linux AppImage / Debian packages.
Which mod loaders and modpacks can I use?
Fabric, Quilt, Forge, and NeoForge are all installed through their official installer pipelines with live log output. You can search and install modpacks directly from Modrinth, FTB, and CurseForge, or import local .mrpack files.
Where do downloads live?
The Download button on this page links to the latest stable release for your platform as soon as a new version ships. You can also grab past releases from the SynCraft project page on GitHub.
How do I get help or report a bug?
