Verify before you run anything

The checksums above are the ones this page was built from. Download SHA256SUMS into the same folder as all three artifacts. The Linux artifacts are unsigned; these same-origin checksums prove integrity only. The Android APK signer is the only authenticity check. Check both:

The APK is signed with the studio release key. Its certificate SHA-256 is:

apksigner verify --print-certs finger-1.1.2.apk prints it. If it prints anything else, do not install it.

What the build does and does not include

Included: the daemon, the CLI, the PAM helper and the Android app; offline license checking; the password fallback.
Activation: a license covers one person on two devices, registered on first use. Without a valid license, phone approvals stop — your password still works, always.
Not included: a license file. That is issued at purchase, or through Support with your order ID.
Not included: automatic updates. Check this page for a newer version.
