What you need
- A Linux laptop or desktop where
sudogoes through PAM - An Android phone with a fingerprint sensor, Android 10 or newer
- Tailscale on both, signed in to the same tailnet
It can never bypass authentication. A denial, a 45-second timeout, a missing phone or a bad signature all end at the ordinary password prompt.
